Not with a Macgregor, she is engineered to be towed behind most V6 vehicles. Once again you can save several thousand on your tow vehicle and additional thousands on the gas you will waste when not towing as well.

In order to save weight you need to think outside the box. The Macgregor 26 leaves it's ballast in the lake so you don't have to tow it. They also replaced many of the heavy steel members with strong but lighter aluminum ones on its trailer further reducing unnecessary weight. There is no other package on the market easier to tow, launch and retrieve in her class.
